About PMI
Perth Mosque Incorporated (PMI) is a halal certification body operating from the Perth Mosque at 427-429 William Street, Perth, Western Australia. The mosque itself is the oldest in Western Australia and the second oldest purpose-built mosque in Australia. Its foundation stone was laid on 13 November 1905, and construction was funded largely by donations collected from Afghan cameleers and Muslim merchants across the state.
