Certification Centre "Halal" LLC

The Halal Certification Center, registered as Certification Centre “Halal” LLC, is a Ukrainian halal certification body that has operated for more than 25 years and works across all regions of Ukraine. It presents itself as the only official certification body in the country whose activities are supported and controlled by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine (RAMU), which provides the religious authority behind its decisions. A stated objective of the organization is promoting the competitiveness of Ukrainian products in the international market.

The center certifies manufactured products rather than enterprises, confirming that their composition complies with halal requirements and that production is free from cross contamination. Its work concentrates on food and beverage products, including meat products, for which it verifies that certified producers use meat of permitted animals slaughtered in accordance with Shariah requirements. Assessments cover raw materials, production conditions, equipment, quality and safety compliance, traceability systems, and labeling. The certification process moves through application review, contract conclusion and payment, documentation review, an enterprise audit, and expert review by a decision making commission, after which a Certificate of Halal Compliance is issued with a validity of one year.

International acceptance of its certificates rests on several approvals. JAKIM in Malaysia granted recognition, and the center also holds EIAC accreditation for United Arab Emirates requirements and recognition from MUIS in Singapore. Its certified manufacturers export products to markets around the world.
